Meet Cruze. Cruze was found wandering the streets in North Carolina. No one came looking for him and his time was up at the shelter. He found safety with us.
This little gem was thrown out like trash. Her owners put her out as she out grew the cute kitten stage. When Meadow was picked up by animal control she was so thin that she could not stand up on her own. They didn't think she would make it. But here she is one year later.
The following fur babies aren't at our PA sanctuary, but at one of our permanent foster homes, where they will live out their remaining years.
This sweet senior was dumped at a shelter with his elderly brother Derby when their owner was no longer able to take care of them.
Hannah is an elderly senior whose parents had to move, and as so often happens, Hannah couldn't go along. But now she's with our wonderful foster Mom Janet in New York.
Rufus' owner died and family members tried to care for him until they got the news that they themselves had a terminal illness. They hated to surrender him, but knew it was the best option for Rufus. He's now in New York with Hannah.
